discussed the thrilling music that pre-dated, inspired, fed into, and finally exploded as punk in the mid-late 1970s.
From their perspectives of Liverpool and Manchester respectively, Bryan Biggs - Director of Cultural Legacies at Liverpool’s centre for the contemporary arts, the Bluecoat – and Malcolm Garrett Creative Director of design company Images&Co, and graphic designer for Buzzcocks and many other bands from late 70s onwards played a selection of 45s and LP’s and discussed why these records still matter.
